Overview
In this tour we will cover the 2 most popular parks in Kenya – Samburu National Reserve (3 days) & Ol Pejeta (3 days. Samburu is home for “Special Five” (Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Gerenuk, and Somali Ostrich) & also Lions, Leopards, Elephants and much more. Ol Pejeta is home to “Big Five” (Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Rhinos, and Buffalo).

Itinerary
Your tour starts with pick up at 7:00 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Samburu. This drive will take about 6 to 7 hours with diverse views ranging from the raw country side, the central highlands of Kenya, the equator line and views of Mt Kenya. Arrive in Samburu by lunch time and check into your lodge/camp, have a hot lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive.
After the game drive, we head back to lodge/camp to reach by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner. Overnight at your lodge.
Today's itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide on the previous evening and plan for today's schedule. You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around 9:00 am with packed lunch and return back to lodge late evening around 6:00 pm. Or you can depart at 6:00 am on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness hunt/kill). Later return to accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit and depart on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. you will stop at a picnic spot for having packed lunch and later depart on a game drive till the park is closed. Around 6:00 pm return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Meals Breakfast – Lunch & Dinner
Continue to explore Samburu. Here elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffe and zebra move along the the river that cuts through this reserve, crocodiles often found lounging on the riverbanks. Game driving happens twice a day along the savannah amidst acacia trees, forest and thorn trees to spot the many different animals that can be found in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
In the heart of Kenya’s Laikipia region, Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a shining example of conservation for the entire continent. Home to the last 3 Northern white rhino in the world, it’s also a sanctuary for Southern whites and critically endangered black rhino, as well as chimpanzee. There are also opportunities to spend a morning with the lion rangers as you track the cats in the area, as well as rhinos Intersperse these with traditional Big 5 game drives and walking safaris
We depart at 6:30 am after breakfast on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness a hunt/kill). Later around 10:30 AM, return to accommodation for a break and relax for a bit and after lunch, depart on an afternoon game drivearound 3:00 PM till around 6:00 PM. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Enjoy a morning game drive at sunrise and later return to the camp for a full breakfast after which you will leave this exotic conservancy for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon where you can be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or the airport bringing to an end what we believe is an amazing experience
